How to delete a patch on sims 3?

My computer updates patches reguarly for the sims 3 and recently there was a patch that stoped me from adding more than 8 people to a house hold. How can i deleat it?How to delete a patch on sims 3?

i dont own sims but i can lead you close to its files

........you couldn't add more then 8 people in the household of sims 3 in the first place.......there were cheats and glitches in the sims 2 which could make it so you could but......not in the sims 3.......
