Problems with the 1.10 sims 3 patch!?

after i installed the 1.10 patch, my sims couldnt build skills! whenever i click on an item (excersise machine, mirror, etc.) i cant practice speech or workout or even build cooking skills when i watch tv! so i went to the library and tried to look for skill books but there werent any. i was really confused!



and then another thing is when i click on a building like the school or city hall or army base, nothing comes up. i have to manually get a job from the computer %26gt;:(



OH and another thing is that for some reason, none of my jobs require skills anymore?? it still says boss relationship and mood but not the other skills! i've had many problems with the patches and had to renistall my game, TWICE! i just think EA needs to make sure everything works BEFORE they release it instead of throwing it out there and seeing what happens.



but anyways is anyone else having issues with the new patch or maybe this certain probelm?? can someone help me??Problems with the 1.10 sims 3 patch!?
I can't even install the patch. An error keeps popping up saying its been interrupted
