It says I have version 1.2.07 and it's trying to update to 1.4.6, but it stops in the middle and says "Update Error: Invalid File Found". What do I do? It won't let me play until the patch is installed, but it won't install!I can't install this Sims 3 patch? Help?
I was having the same problem, and a much smarter head than mine has written a VERY comprehensive guide - Hysterical Paroxysm over at Mod The Sims.
Apparently its likely to be because of an installed mod.
