When is the sims 3 patch coming out?

God it's so slow and it seems very buggy. I think they released the game b4 it was really ready and that pissed alot of people off including meWhen is the sims 3 patch coming out?
It was released before ready. People kept bugging the creators to hurry up. If any time probaly when exspansions come out in Nov. Other than that, sorry I don't know what to tell ya.

Baloney. There are PLENTY of people who are having problems with this game. There are threads and forums about it all over the place. EA themselves came out with a trick right away to fix the story progression not turning off, because even THAT didn't work from day one.



The game was delayed once in like February. It was always supposed to come out in early june. The online leak had nothing to do with its release date.



No patch yet. I check every day. Just keep googling Sims 3 patch and cross your fingers.When is the sims 3 patch coming out?
I'm wondering the same thing.



New (refurbished) pc...added 2g memory...new video card.



Crashes 10 minutes after game play.



Consistently.



My kids HATE me now.
I have the sims 3 I brought it the day it came out ad it does the same problem to me. I held the patch meant to come out sometime next moth. Hope that help.
As for slowish game play, its depends on the machine you have, personally i have no major slowdowns at all, plays pretty good.



But as for the bugs, my god i have a huge list of em, and most are annoying. Just do a search on Google or any other search engine about "Sims 3 bugs" and you'll be amazed.



I personally got fed up and stopped playing, hopefully a patch will come out soon to address this mess...on the meantime more Civ 4 for me.
There are many things that can affect a game, particularly if it uses an in-house engine. If a game runs perfectly fine for 60% of users and doesn't run for 40% then there is likely a problem with the engine, where the optimizations that are used at the heart of the engine (particularly for assembler instruction calls) they can be processor dependent and so some people will have one set of problems because of their CPU, some will have other problems and some will have no problems whatsoever. Windows Vista is plagued with these code issues.
Yeah, they did release it before it was ready. Because some idiot leaked the game and put it out for illegal downloads.





As for it it being buggy, it's not. It runs perfectly fine on every PC I have it installed on.



Don't blame EA for the game not running right on your PC. The problem more than likely is your computer. If you have windows do you have SP3 for XP or SP1 for Vista installed? Do you have updated video card drivers?
