Every time i try to update the latest patch(v1.2.7) it just stops at 95% saying that there's a ufc-gorilla error. I did all the research i could do but cant seem to find the right way to fix this. PLEASE i need help. Ive been waiting for this game for so loooonggg yea. Hella appreciate it.Sims 3 patch error help?
Do you have a no-censor-blur patch in? If so you need to pull it out and put the original, censored file back in in order to update.
If that's the problem, you need to go here:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
And replace this file:
Shaders_Win32.precomp
with the original one, which you can find on your game disk.
Afterwards, you may want to use a censor patch that comes in package file format, so you can just remove it when updating. Mod the Sims has one.
