Sims 3 Patches - If I download the latest will I get ALL patches?

If I've JUST installed the original Sims 3 and I patch, is the patch consolidated? Are they all the fixes in one?



OR



Does it just install the fixes that patch note includes? Not all the previous fixes and updates?
