Hi I just reinstalled my sims 3 and it's really messed up. I only have until patch 1.0.6 and I want to update it to the most recent as quickly as possible. I have tried downloading it via the launcher but it's not working.
I've looked everywhere but I can't find one that starts from 1.0.6. So where can I find EVERY patch that EA has released? Also I have no expansions.Where can I download EVERY sims 3 patch manually?
You can find a list on the forums however a couple of things you can do is to try updating the launcher itself.
I also recently had a problem with the patch before this last one and how I fixed it was to uninstall everything and reinstall it updating the patches as I went. So, base game, update, world adventures, update and so on.
It was a real pain but, once that was done the newest patch updated just fine.
Oh, and on one of the forums it also talks about a file that high end lot stuff creates being a part of the problem. I followed their directions on it but, it did not fix the problem for me, nor did the manual update.
